First round of the hockey play-off

What a first round! My top-three teams all advanced: the Sharks (1), the Sabres (2), and the ducks (3). Wouldn't it be cool to see the sharks vs sabres going at it in the final? The ducks just kicked the flames butt 3-0 in game 7...in Calgary...great job! A team that have been looking impressive is the Devils...but again, the played againts the Rangers who came into the play-off on a loosing streak and was hampered by injured players. The sharks, to me, still looks like the team to beat. Their depth is amazing. Their second line is just as good as the first line and would in many other NHL teams BE the first line. If their goalie and defense can keep up the good play they will be tough to beat. The team that surprised me most was the good ol' Avalanche. Sakic showed again why he is one of the best centers of all time. He IS Mr. Clutch...and my favorite NHL player for years. Teams that disappointed me was the Stars and the Flyers. But again, the flyers played the sabres which I think is the second best team (if not the best) in the NHL at the moment. The scary thing is that the team is very young and could be a dominant team in years to come.
